Biography

Alfredo has more than 20 years of experience advising national and international clients on tax and legal matters, focusing mainly on tax consulting, corporate reorganization, tax compliance, tax audits and litigation, anti-corruption advice and prevention of money laundering in vulnerable activities.

During his career he has advised several companies in the Automotive, Construction, Consumer Services, Food, Parcel and Courier Services, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Private Security, Financial Services, Energy, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Technology, Tourism, Advertising and non-profit institutions.

He holds a law degree from Universidad Anáhuac. D. in “European Union Business Law” from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has a Master’s Degree in “Corporate Law” from the Universidad Anáhuac and a Master’s Degree in “Taxation” from the Instituto de Especialización para Ejecutivos (IEE), specialization in “Tax Law” from the Universidad Panamericana. He also holds a certification as a business mentor from Harvard University. He is currently studying Public Accounting at the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial.

From 2018 to 2022, Who’s Who Legal, recognizes and recommends him as one of the most outstanding tax lawyers in Mexico.

Author of several articles related to the subject of corporate taxes, in editions published by the Fine Points magazine of Editorial Thomson Reuters.

For some years he was a professor of Constitutional Law at Universidad Anáhuac.

Currently one of the founding partners of C&C ASESORES. From 2017 to 2021 he was a partner of KAYE TRUEBA Y CASTILLEJA ABOGADOS, S.C., previously, he worked as a tax advisor in the international firm “EY”. From 2008 to 2013 he served as Director of Tax Collection at the Secretary of Finance of the Government of Mexico City. He also worked for the firm “Chévez Ruiz Zamarripa” in the area of tax consulting. For 3 years he worked as assistant legal director at Grupo Orozco-Felguerez and also worked at the beginning of his career as a corporate lawyer at Casa Cuervo, S.A. de C.V.

He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados A.C.) and the National Association of Corporate Lawyers, Colegio de Abogados, A.C. (ANADE).
