Alfredo has over 20 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on tax and legal matters, focusing primarily on tax advisory, business reorganization, tax compliance, audits and tax litigation, anti-corruption advice, and anti-money laundering compliance for activities classified as vulnerable.

Throughout his career, he has advised companies in the automotive, construction, consumer services, food, parcel delivery and courier services, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, private security, financial services, energy, oil and gas, real estate, telecommunications, technology, tourism, and advertising industries, as well as nonprofit organizations.

He holds a law degree from Universidad Anáhuac and a doctorate in European Union Business Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He also holds a master’s degree in Corporate Law from Universidad Anáhuac, a master’s degree in Taxation from Instituto de Especialización para Ejecutivos (IEE), and a specialization in Tax Law from Universidad Panamericana. He is also certified as a business mentor by Harvard University. He is currently pursuing a degree in Public Accounting at Escuela Bancaria y Comercial.

From 2018 to 2022, Who’s Who Legal recognized and recommended him as one of Mexico’s leading tax specialists. 

He has authored several articles on corporate taxation published in Thomson Reuters’ Puntos Finos magazine. 

For several years, he taught Constitutional Law at Universidad Anáhuac.

He is currently a founding partner of C&C ASESORES. From 2017 to 2021, he was a partner at KAYE TRUEBA Y CASTILLEJA ABOGADOS, S.C. Previously, he worked as a tax advisor at the international firm EY. From 2008 to 2013, he served as Director of Revenue Collection at the Mexico City Government’s Ministry of Finance. He also worked in tax advisory at Chévez Ruiz Zamarripa. For three years, he served as Deputy Legal Director at Grupo Orozco-Felguerez, and earlier in his career he worked as a corporate lawyer at Casa Cuervo, S.A. de C.V.

He is a member of Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C. and Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, Colegio de Abogados, A.C. (ANADE).
